Our Consultation Structure

OSNEM operates as a private billing practice to allow for extended consultation times and a focus on integrative care. This model supports in-depth discussions and personalised planning, with Medicare rebates available for eligible patients.

Fees reflect the comprehensive nature of our services, including time for root-cause analysis and tailored recommendations. For example: 

- New Patient Consultation (60 minutes): $470–$530 (after booking fee), with potential Medicare rebate. 

- Follow-up Consultations: Vary based on duration and complexity. 

We welcome motivated patients who are prepared to engage actively in their health journey. Full fee details and policies are outlined below. 

Consultation fees are time based;

• NEW PATIENT consultation - 
• >60 minutes $550 (Medicare rebate $202.65) + $30 Booking fee
• <59 minutes $460 (Medicare rebate $125.10) + $30 Booking fee
• Follow-up Appointment (Time Based)
  • 25 minute $195 (Medicare Rebate $84.90)
  • 30 minutes $230 (Medicare Rebate $84.90)
  • 35 minutes $260 (Medicare Rebate $84.90)
• Short Appointment $115 (Medicare Rebate $43.90)
• Phone appointment and Telehealth are available
  • time based fees (as above)
  • Medicare rebates may apply
• Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments
  • generally bulk billed

Repeat script fee without consultation $25.

Replacement referral/pathology/radiology request forms $25. (Please look after your referral forms!)

Medicare rebates may vary depending on rebatable service.

We accept Cash, Cheque, EFT and Credit Cards. Patients who have their bank details registered with Medicare will have prompt reimbursement of their rebate as the claim will be lodged at the time of payment.

APPOINTMENT TIMES;

We appreciate the importance of your time. Our Doctors endeavour to run on time. Please arrive to the waiting room a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time and inform reception of your arrival. New patients please allow 10 minutes. If you are running late please call to inform our reception staff as soon as possible. Due to the nature of our scheduling we cannot extend the time of your scheduled appointment. 

MISSED APPOINTMENTS;

Scheduled appointment times are reserved for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule we require 24 hours notice (or 3 business days for new patient appointments). Missed appointments will incur a full fee.
